Real Madrid plan move for Arsenal star

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to launch a move for Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas this summer.

Perez is ready to make a £35million bid to hijack rival Barcelona’s expected move for the Spaniard, according to The Sun.

Real Madrid have splashed £400million in the last two summers, but are ready to spend more in a bid to get one up on rivals Barcelona.

Barcelona have won La Liga for the previous two seasons and are set to face Manchester United in the Champions League final this season.

Barcelona had a £31million bid for Fabregas rejected by Arsenal last summer.
