The 25-year-old joined Stoke in a club record transfer deal from Sunderland in August.
Jones scored the leveller in Stoke’s 2-1 win at Newcastle on Sunday.
“I can’t tell how this run will go, but I’m enjoying it. Hopefully it will continue,” he told The Sentinel.
“I came to a new club and had a bit of pressure on me from the price tag, but hopefully I’m paying that off now.
“The main thing is we got the points. Saturday’s results put us back in the bottom three, so we really needed these points more than ever before.
“Being down there can play on your mind, so we needed this victory. We were fortunate for our second goal, but we’ll take that.”
