West Ham are ready to sell the 23-year-old for the right price and Pulis is keen to sign him to strengthen his midfield.
He said: “The squad is too big and we’ve got to shift players out. I want a leaner squad next year, but I want to try to bring a bit more quality in.
“We’ll be working hard to get one or two players out and bring one or two fresh ones in – but we have to make sure they’re the right players.”
