The Gunners’ medical team wants to get to the root cause of Rosicky’s injury problems.
Rosicky has been out of aciont since January with a tendon complaint.
“Tomas Rosicky yesterday underwent routine revision surgery in Germany,” read a statement from Arsenal.
“The operation went as planned and Tomas will now spend at least a few weeks convalescing in Germany.
“Thereafter he will follow a tailored rehabilitation programme devised by our medical team.”
