The 31-year-old is yet to agree a deal with Hartlepool.
“I hope this will be done today,” Lange told Tromso.
“I am going to go through a medical check-up and we need to agree on the details. But I haven’t said yes yet.
“There are discussions on a contract for three months ending on May 2nd.
“They still have 19 games to play and they want an option in the contract that they can sign me further, but I don’t want that.
“I was over training with them two times last week. They had nice facilities and three physiotherapists. They can also give me a proper contract.”
