Florentino Perez is keen to bring back Zidane to the club if he wins the club’s presidential elections this summer.
Zidane admits he would like to return to the club in an ambassadorial role.
“I would love to be an ambassador,” he told L’Equipe. “There is a possibility that he could return and we will have to see what happens.
“When they want me to do things, and if I can, then we can do them. I want to return to football.
“But just because someone has been a great player, that does not mean that they will then automatically be a great coach or director.”
