Alberto Aquilani extended his contract with Roma earlier this week.
“I’m happy that Alberto has renewed his contract, because he’s a very important player,” declared the former Lecce player to Sky.
“I’m talking with the club right now and I hope to sign a new deal. We’re at the end of the negotiations and we’re very close.”
