Fiorentina lost 3-0 in a pre-season friendly match against Paris St. Germain last night.
“I thank the fans who were at the stadium tonight, despite the few that made themselves felt by attempting to demean us,” Mutu stated in an interview with Sky.
“Nobody likes to lose, so yes we are angry with the outcome, but we all felt that our effort was there.
“Since I’ve been here in Florence, we always seem to be a little inconsistent in the pre-season friendly matches, because we work so hard in training.
“I’m sure that we will be ready for the preliminary stage of the Champions League though, as that is what we are working to.”
