Galloppa does not regret leaving Roma

Galloppa left Roma in 2007 to join Siena and later joined Parma this summer.

The midfielder has been a hit at Parma and has even earned a Italy international call up.

“The problem with Roma is that they do not allow players to come through. They don’t wait for you. Look at Simone Pepe and Gaetano D’Agostino for example,” Galloppa told Forzaroma.info.

“Maybe they were not ready for Roma when they were young and they needed to gain new experiences. In any case it was the club who lost important players.”

It was this attitude that prompted the player to take action and pack his bags.

“In the end decided to leave because I felt I would be more of a player at Siena. I have no regrets . Now I just hope to improve.”
