Sky Sports says Chelsea’s sporting director Frank Arnesen watched Pazzini in action in the derby against Genoa on Saturday.
The Blues are considering making a move for the 25-year-old in the January transfer window, due to their suspended transfer ban.
Sergio Aguero and Franck Ribery are also reportedly among their targets.
