Carlo Ancelotti’s side are currently on a four-game winless run that have seen Manchester United join them at the top of the Premier League table.
“If you make a mistake once, you have to learn from it, and that’s what we are trying to do. That’s why we are reacting,” he told the Daily Express.
“We are not worried, because we are experienced. We started the season at a champions’ pace and we knew that there would be a moment when we lost points.
“We are aware that this is not good enough, but we have to stay confident in the way we train and the way we play.
“We have lost points and conceded goals. The difference is that physically it is a bit harder, because we are in a busy period.
“That’s why we need everybody to stay fresh. That’s what will make the difference between a strong team that doesn’t make mistakes, and a team that does.”
He added: “We have analysed our mistakes.
“That is why we are still on top because even when we are winning we are analysing.
“We know what we have to work on. We know we are strong. When we look at the others they are losing points. We are on top of the league, finished first in our Champions League group.
“It’s not the quality. You don’t point the finger at one man and say it’s his fault. It’s a problem of concentration on set plays, and that’s why you can fix it.
“The players are speaking in the dressing room. The manager knows we are not happy with what we are doing. It is a team thing and we will put it right.”
