Reports on Friday have suggested that Saha has agreed a new two-year contract with Everton.
“We have always felt quite confident Louis would sign a new contract and I hope within the next few days we can get it resolved,” said Moyes.
“A lot of stupid nonsense has been written about Louis but hopefully in the next few days we will know for definite.”
