Davenport’s contract was set to expire at the end of the season and the Hammers have come to an agreement with defender on a pay-off for the remainder of his deal.
“West Ham United and Calum Davenport today agreed terms to mutually terminate his contract allowing him the opportunity to concentrate on securing a new club for next season,” read a Hammers statement.
“Both parties have agreed that they do not wish to comment further on this matter.”
