The 17-year-old striker joined City during Sven Goran Eriksson’s time in charge at Eastlands.
“Manchester City are positive to do a loan until the end of May,” Djurgardens sports director Stefan Alven told Expressen.
“John has expressed a desire to join Djurgardens and we are interested in signing him.”
