Fortunato held talks with Juventus director of sport Alessio Secco over the 33-year-old’s future at the club earlier this week.
“Mauro is not part of their plans anymore,” Fortunato admitted to Tuttosport newspaper.
“I have been given a mandate by the directors to find a new team for him.”
