Rubin Kazan confident ahead of Barcelona clash

The Russian giants surprised Barcelona with two good results against the Spanish side last year.

“We surprised Barcelona last year and surprised the whole world. We’ll have to fight very hard and play our very best. But why not do it again,” Noboa was quoted as saying by uefa.com.

“The Camp Nou win and the home draw are history. Our team and our opponents’ team have changed. If we want to win again we’ll need to defend well again, but also try to control the game better. We only created two or three chances at home last year. We’ll need to be more dangerous this time.

“Last season we were happy to be participating and pleased to finish third. We want to qualify this time. We want to move forward. It won’t be easy against Barcelona, or against the others, but we want to get into the next round.”
