The 34-year-old admits he is opent to sign a contract extension with the Bundesliga side.
“HSV have given me a chance at a point in time when no one believed in me anymore. Therefore, I will first sit down and discuss my future with them. They deserve that,” he told Nusport.
He added: “I don’t know yet whether I will stay with Hamburg, move to another team or end my career.”
