The 18-year-old has become a regular at Arsenal after returning from a successful spell on loan at Bolton last season.
“I have been very impressed by Wilshere,” Chamakh told Sky Sports.
“Wilshere is a great player and I think he is only going to improve further.
“As well as being a great player he is adorable off the pitch.”
