Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has made an effort to shrug off the view that he is a lazy player, stating that his job is to score goals, not run all over the place.
The striker told Ball Point, “I am not a player who runs all over the place, my job is to score goals.”
Benzema has struggled to win a permanent place in the Madrid side and is looking to get more playing time to prove his worth to his new manager.
