Santon was pleased with his performance in the game against Genoa.
“It was a very important victory tonight,” Santon told Sky Sport Italia. “I’m feeling good and I’m glad to have played from the first minute. My legs were a bit heavy but playing for ninety minutes did me good.
“The intensity of Genoa’s play made it a bit hard for us, especially in the last twenty minutes when four of their players were attacking. Even [Dario] Dainelli advanced.”
