Bale overpowered and outpaced Maicon both in the San Siro two weeks ago and last night, when Tottenham beat the European Champions 3-1.
After the game Maicon, who endured chants of ‘taxi for Maicon’, said “Anyone who knows English football knows who Bale is. He put in a great performance. All of Tottenham did and with the third goal they sealed it.”
