Spurs face Liverpool in the Premier League at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Bale told the Sunday Mirror: “I like to think if we are fully on our game, we can beat any team in the world.
“I think if we go into the game against Liverpool with the attitude we had in the second half against Arsenal (they came back to win 3-2), there’s no reason we can’t beat them.
“Gerrard missing is kind of good for us because he’s a great player. Roy Hodgson hasn’t been there long, but he’s making his mark and they’re improving as a team, so we know it’s going to be difficult.”
