Radu’s current contract with the Italian side is set to expire in the summer of 2012 and the 24-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Barcelona.
“I honesty don’t know anything. I was in Spain to watch the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid out of habit, but I haven’t talked to anyone,” Viktor Becali told tuttomercatoweb.
“At what point are we in regarding negotiations for a renewal? We met recently with Lazio and will meet again in mid-January. Am I optimistic? We’ll see. Currently the most important thing is the player recovers from injury.”
