Mancini is keen to persuade Tevez to stay with the club, after the striker submitted a formal transfer request at the weekend.
Tevez was not a part of the squad for the Europa League game against Juventus in Turin on Thursday.
Mancini said: “I haven’t spoken to him yet. He is our player and I hope he continues to play for us and score for us.
“I will speak with him on Friday.”
