Roma’s season has tapered off in recent weeks as they lost at home to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and have fallen to eighth in Serie A.
Montella, the club’s new manager, said: “We have to improve on results and teamwork is the key. I expect everyone here to have a common objective and to work hard.”
