Carew joined Stoke on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa in January.
He told The Sentinel: “I am very happy with the decision I made, not only because I have come to a good team, but because of the manager and the great lads here.
“I am enjoying every moment with them and really am having a great time.
“It is perfect for now, so I am very happy with the choice and am 100 per cent sure it was the right decision.”
