The Serbian forward was unfortunate as he signed under Rafa Benitez, only for the Spaniard to depart, and he found himself out of favour under both Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish without being given an opportunity.
“If I have to be totally honest, I think about it often, if I had moved to Italy or Germany I would be happier than in England.
