Torres has failed to impress since joining Chelsea in a £50million move from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
Torres and Dider Drogba did both feature in last week’s win over Spurs, but Ancelotti accepts his side got ‘lucky’ against their London rivals.
Ancelotti is expected to have Drogba as the spearhead for the title crunch at Manchester United on Sunday.
