Man City set to hand Cook new deal

The Sunday Mirror reports that City’s owners have been impressed with the progress at Eastlands with Cook in charge.

City have seen revenues increase from £87million to £125million in the space of a year.

A City insider told the Sunday Mirror: “Nothing has been signed, but talks have taken place between Garry and the owners and they are ­progressing well.”

Cook is currently on a three-year deal worth £1.5million-a-year.
