The new deal will keep the Italian midfielder with the Old Lady until the summer of 2016.

“I began my association with Juventus in 1993 and I’m happy that I’ve been able to extend my stay.
“My contract situation’s been spoken about a lot in previous months, but from the club’s or my point of view there’s never been a moment which has put our relationship in jeopardy.
“I’m happy that the club’s shown their trust in me and now I want to reciprocate it by winning.
“There are many trophies in this room and my biggest dream is to lift one as soon as possible. It’s a dream that I also want to achieve for our fans who have always been with us even during the most difficult moments, and they deserve to be repaid.”
