Balzaretti has recently been linked with the likes of AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma.
“There is no news regarding a transfer. He has an ongoing contract with Palermo and is very happy at Sicily. He has never said that he wanted to leave the club,” Bonetto told Tuttomercato.com.
“He is a key player for the club. The most important thing for him [Balzaretti] in the past few weeks was the Coppa Italia final against Inter. He will now focus on the national team and on his upcoming wedding on June 18.”
