City are close to agreeing a £7million deal with Arsenal for the highly-rated 25-year-old defender.
The France international is due in Manchester for a medical with City and is expected to sign a deal that could see him earn around £90,000-per-week at Eastlands.
Liverpool have also recently been linked with a move for the French left-back.
