Despite Joey Barton’s agent’s pretence of having lots of interest in his client, it seems the only team genuinely interested is a long ball team who rely on over physicality.
On Twitter Barton has hinted that he may hang around at Newcastle. “Just because ur [sic] are told to jump it does not necessarily mean u have to. I may choose to stay perfectly still. It’s my right…just a thought.”
