The Dutch club has confirmed that Stoke are keen for talks with the Nigerian striker.
VVV Venlo sporting director Mario Captein confirmed: “They want to talk to Michael.
Tall order: Michael Uchebo could be on his way to Stoke in January
“You should see it as a sort of interview. You always want to talk to a player before you agree to sign them.”
Uchebo’s current contract with VVV Venlo is set to expire at the end of the season.
