The Sunday Mirror reports that Barcelona sees Song as the ideal replacement for Seydou Keita who has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou.
Song has impressed for the Gunners this season and the midfielder still has three years to run on his current contract with the club.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer Song a new and longer deal with the club.
Barcelona are prepared to make a £15million bid for Song next summer.
