El Mundo Deportivo reports that the Rossoneri has made Garcia one of their top transfer targets for the summer.
Benfica are reportedly looking for a fee of around €25million for the highly-rated midfielder.
Javi Garcia joined Benfica in a €7million deal from Real Madrid in 2009.
Garcia’s current contract with Benfica is set to expire in the summer of 2014.
