Vidic is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a knee injury and could feature for United again this season.
Vidic had surgery on his right cruciate ligament after suffering the injury in United’s clash with Basel in Switzerland earlier this season.
It was expected that the injury could keep the Serbian defender out for 12 months.
But the 30-year-old could be ready to play before the end of the current season.
