Albiol has struggled for playing time at Real Madrid since Mourinho’s arrival, and subsequently his Spain hopes have suffered.
“The problem of Albiol in the national team is not my problem”, said Mourinho.
“I hope that all my players are happy, but I’m not paying attention to international squad choices.
“Albiol and I have not talked about more or less playing time.”
