Kompany has been out of action with a hamstring injury since the Europa League clash at Sporting on 8th March.
City boss Roberto Mancini has revealed Kompany could return against Stoke, but Joleon Lescott is set to miss out once again due to a groin problem.
“Joleon I don’t think but for Vinnie maybe he has some chance,” said Mancini.
