There has been much speculation linking Higuain with a move from Real but player is keen to stay.
“The last match at Madrid touched me a lot. The words of my team-mates, Sergio [Ramos]. This is a moment that will remain with me forever”, said Higuain.
“The affection my team-mates have shown has touched me. I get along well with everyone and I just won the title with Madrid and I am once again in the national team.
