Sport1 reports that the Bundesliga side have offered De Bruyne double his current salary in a new contract.
Reports claim the length of the new deal will stay the same, going through to 2019.
Should De Bruyne sign the new deal he will earn €10million per year.
De Bruyne has long been linked with a £50million move to Manchester City.
