Huddersfield Town face a fight to keep Cameron Ashia after Brighton, Hamburg and Anderlecht registered interest in the winger.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the Terriers’ most valuable young players following an impressive breakthrough campaign.
Football Insider reports that all three clubs have made contact over a possible transfer. Brighton are keen to move before the deadline, although strong European competition could complicate their pursuit.
Ashia scored six goals and supplied three assists in all competitions last season. His acceleration and direct dribbling have even led to comparisons with Manchester City star Jeremy Doku.
Huddersfield remain in a vulnerable negotiating position because the attacker’s contract expires in June 2027. Interested clubs may therefore believe a deal can be secured before his value begins to fall.
For Brighton, Ashia would represent another long-term investment with significant development potential. Hamburg and Anderlecht, however, could present clearer routes to regular first-team football, leaving the winger with three very different career options.
