Ibrahimovic became Inter Milan’s top scored last season with 15 goals.
He told Il Corriere dello Sport: “The situation is very simple, Inter called my agent to extend my current contract, which expires in 2010.
“The negotiations are well under way. My future is with Inter and I couldn’t have made a better choice last year when I decided to come here.”
It is believes his new deal will expire in 2012 and the former Juventus striker can expect a significant wage increase.
