Banfield is impressed with how quickly Nordtveit settled at the club.
He told arsenal.com: “He’s a very mature lad. He’s settled in and taken to the lads, and the lads have taken to him. As a central defender he leads by example and I feel he has the qualities that will make him a good captain.”
