The club board believes Giovinco could be the right man to replace Alessandro Del Piero in the guture.
Juventus directors Alessio Secco and Jean-Claude Blanc held a meeting with Giovinco’s agents Claudio Pasqualin and Andrea D’Amico yesterday, over the young playmaker’s future at the club.
Pasqualin said: “We share the same intentions. Generally we are on the same page, but we haven’t sorted out the numbers yet.
“Both sides understand that we are dealing with a diamond that will shortly shine with al its splendour.”
