AC Milan coach Ancelotti: Sheva and Ronnie back to their best

Sheva scored his first goal since his return to AC Milan from Chelsea as AC Milan won 1-0 away to Zurich in the Uefa Cup tonight.

“We suffered a bit, in the first half they pressed us a lot but we still had clear chances to score,” he said. “Sheva and Ronaldinho are both back to their best, also from an athletic standpoint. Too bad about Kaladze, he was doing well, after a difficult start.

“We’ve rested some players for the match at Cagliari [on Sunday in Serie A], there’s no problem, we only have to think about winning this game at all costs and end this series of games well.”

Ancelotti added: “Now we’ve played two games without conceding goals, this makes me happy, we do have some injuries at the back but after the international break Senderos and Nesta will be back. During the break I also hope Ronaldinho’s condition will improve even more, and I hope Borriello and Inzaghi will also be back soon.”
