Aquilani is expected to leave Liverpool this summer after spending last season on loan at Juventus and following the arrival of Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing at Anfield.
“We could talk about Aquilani,” Galliani told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
“He’s a midfielder with the characteristics that we are looking for so, like with other players in his role, he could be of interest.”
