“Adriano will not be moving from Roma,” Roberto Calenda told Sky Sport. “The player has suffered a serious ankle injury.
“He has been unlucky with the injury, and cannot get himself into form because he cannot train at his maximum.
“Despite this, there is always someone who wants to destabilise things. There are many people against him.
“His intention is to continue to wear the Roma jersey to demonstrate what he is really worth.”
