The 19-year-old is reportedly being tracked by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and the Premier League side could make a summer move for the youngster.
“Abel is at Palermo and he is happy there,” Vincenzo D’Ippolito told palermo24.net.
“He’s maturing with Palermo, who work really well with young players. The club considers him non-transferable so a move is not something to be taken into account.”
He added: “He is happy at Palermo and the president [Maurizio Zamparini] is pleased with Abel. There’s every reason to stay in Palermo.”
