Agent rules out Fulham move for Rubinho

Reports have suggested that Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is ready to make a £3million bid for the keeper.

“Rubinho has a four-year contract with Palermo and he is an important player at the club,” Joao Santos told Mediagol.it.

“I think Palermo know what to do with their key players. We only expect Rubinho to stay because he’s a good keeper.

“I’ve been working in Brazil and I’ve not spoken to anyone, not Fulham or anyone else. The rumours aren’t true.

“I deny everything that’s been written in recent days. Rubinho is under contract and he’s happy in Palermo.

“Palermo director Walter Sabatini has always told me that Fernando has to remain in Palermo.”
